Yoda is 148cm black Irish gelding born in 2006. He has a very good reputation in the Irish Pony Club and Dressage Ireland and is a member of the Irish development pony dressage squad. He has taken his rider from 90cm level to eventing and show jumping at 1.10 and has been with us for four years. He has many wins at novice dressage level and has schooled above elementary level at home. In 2016 he won the Irish pony club national eventing league and was placed 3rd in the Red Mills PC national eventing league in the junior category. In 2017 he was placed in the top 3 in 3/4 of his open PC one day events which is 1.10cm.
Yoda has a very calm temperament and is extremely honest. In the four years of competing he has only ever had one cross country fault which was rider error.
He is ridden in a snaffle in all three phases and is experienced and forward going in all three phases. He is consistent and never comes home without a rosette or a happy rider.
He travels very well and will stand patiently in the box. He is an uncomplicated pony and will adjust himself to the rider.
Yoda would suit a rider starting at 90cm or a rider looking to go to pony 2* and FEI eventing level.
Very sad sale as rider has turned 16 and outgrown and moved onto horses.
He is fine to shoe, load, clip etc…
