Top Class Filly Foal

Fantastic filly foal by Premier Sport winner of this years Eventsec 1.30m Championship at the Balmoral Show. Premier Sport is a 9yo Grade A Grand Prix horse with 382 points. He is by Touchdown who in 1992 competed at the Barcelona Olympics and was a member of the Aga Khan winning nations cup team at the Dublin Horse Show. Touchdown is a fantastic producer of international jumpers such as Liscalgot with whom Dermot Lennon won the Gold Medal at the World Equestrian games in 2002. He is also the sire of many top eventers including High Scope who competed at the Sydney Olympics.Premier Sports dam is Cavlier KD by the legendary Cavalier Royale.His grand dam is by Jack of Diamonds (Grade A) by King of Diamonds- one of the pillars of Irish breeding.

Dam a nice jumping mare by Cruising with 56 points who retired sound to breeding as a six year old. Cruising – winner of the Aachen Grand Prix , multiple World Cup Qualifier Winner and finished 2nd in the World Cup Final in Gothenburg in 1999. Cruising has sired numerous top showjumpers including Flexible – current World Cup Champion and one of the top horses in the world. Cruising is also a prolific producer of eventers and is currently ranked 3rd in the WBFSH world eventing sires list. Grand dam by Ballinvella- a top Irish thoroughbred sire who has produced some great showjumpers. Great grand dam by Diamond Lad who again was a top producer of Irish horses and who was himself by the legendary King of Diamonds.

This filly will have no problem making 16.2 and is already showing serious potential and movement.

Her sire Castle Forbes Lord Lancer is a 172cm bay Oldenburg stallion who is standing at the Old Rectory Stud in Galway. He performed with jessica Kurten on the international showjumping scene and achieved a large number of victories during this time.

Flexible colt out of Nations Cup family

Flexible x Touchdown x Irco Mena

In 2012, at 16 years of age, Flexible won the Showjumping World Cup final with Rich Fellers. Flexible ranked 6th in the WBFSH world rankings in 2012 and was also voted USEF Horse of the Year as a result of his outstanding achievements. Flexible placed 8th individually in the London Olympic Games 2013.

The dam of this colt foal, Knightfield Mena, is a full sister to International Showjumper and Nations Cup horse Touchable, who is ridden by Great Britain’s talented young rider Jessie Drea.

A full brother to Knightfield Mena is Mullaghdrin Touch the Stars – a promising 8 year old showjumping stallion based in the yard of Irish International Showjumper Shane Breen.

Knightfield Mena is also a half sister to the International Showjumper Mullaghdrin Gold Rain who competed up to Nations Cup level with Shane Breen jumping double clear for Ireland in Lisbon CSIO4* in 2010.

At National level, showjumping half siblings of Knightield Mena include Castellar and Winter Cruise in Ireland as well as Peninsula Sky Cruiser who competed in the US and Canada.

Dam sire, Touchdown, represented Ireland in Showjumping at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona with James Kernan. Touchdown is the sire of Liscalgot, 2002 World Champion in Jerez ridden by Ireland’s Dermott Lennon.
Under Royne Zetterman, Irco Mena represented Sweden at Nations Cup and World Cup level. Irco Mena is the sire of Nations Cup showjumpers including Irco Sun (Malin Baryard Johnsson)and Sultan V (Abdullah Al Sharbatly) – Team Bronze medalist at the London Olympic Games 2012.

4Yr old 148cm Mare.
She is bred to showjump.
By Annaghmore Boomerang out of a Warmblood Mare – Annaghmore Boomerang is one of the best 138cm Jumping Ponies on the circuit at the moment.
The Sire of the Dam is Lauriston, who was an international showjumper. Lauriston was winner of the German 6Yr old jumping Championships in 1992 with the record score of 9.7 for style & scope. Lauriston sired 10 International horses from his first crop of foals. Amongst these Catapult {Billy Twomey & Michael Whitaker} and Promise Me, Ian Millers Athens 2004 Olympic ride.
This pony is broken & riding and jumping a course of fences – She has hunted with the Glasson Farmers on 5 occasions in 2012/2013, and has also hunter trialed – She is schooled over coloured poles and on a cross country track.
This pony shows excellent promise for showjumping and is ready now for a rider to take her slowly through the grades and have her ready for the 6/7Yr old Qualifiers in 2015.
