Setanta is on the market though no fault of his own. Owner only selling due to work commitments and children. 17.1hh chestnut beauty. Setanta has impressively racked up 17 Supreme Championship Wins here in Ireland and is unseen on the UK circuit.
Castana/Master Imp – 10yr old. This guy was born oozing presence and talent. Setanta won as a 4, 5, and 6 year old. Totting up a spectacular 17 Supreme Hunter Championships inc Tullamore, Longford , Mullingar, Claremorris , Athlone, Arva, Granard, Balieborough. He was also placed in Dublin in the side saddle class as a four year old.
Setanta then went to Holland to the Joint Master of the Royal Hunt of Holland. He hunted and also performed superbly at their hunter championships (similar to a hunter trials but judging on show presence and confirmation).
Setanta has superb athletic paces and is very well schooled on the flat. Would also make a super dressage horse. Nicely responsive but in no ways sensitive or strong. Very quiet to do in all ways.
He is a super hack, no spooking or silliness out of him. Great in traffic. Hacks alone or in company.
Big Scopey jump, never stops and is brave on a xc course. Would be very comfortable jumping 1.10s.
Loads of scope, ability and experience in all spheres.
Setanta has spent the last year lapping up the sunshine in Southern France where he has been used for dressage and lower level eventing. He is adored by his owner so this is a very sad sale but work commitments and children have forced her into selling him. Looking for Setanta’s forever home now where this gentle giant will be loved and well cared for.
This horse is a top class horse with presence, scope, ability and attitude. Horse of a lifetime that will give you years of pleasure and red rosettes.

Setanta was sold to his current owner by us so we know this horse. He was in our yard for 6months and was an absolute pleasure to have in the yard. Would make anyones day to go out and exercise him.
