158cm Luidam 6 Year Old Mare

158cm Flashy chestnut mare with good confirmation. Has the breeding and potential to go all the way up the levels in either showjumping or eventing.

Sire is Luidam, a previous top international showjumper and her Dam is a registered Irish Sport Horse from the same breeding line as the eventer Eagle Lion and by the sire Ard VDL Douglas.

Has three even paces, and plenty of scope going consistently clear at 1m on temporary tickets and jumping clear at 1.10m at home with a teenager. Has done a few pony club one day events with dressage in the 30’s has also competed in hunter trials.

Would be suitable for an experienced junior/ young rider or professional as not a novice ride.

Good to shoe, load and travel. Has not been clipped as she doesn’t grow much of a winter coat.

Sad sale but teenager is looking for an experienced mount to bring her up the levels and this mare needs a more experienced rider also, so would consider a part swap.

Sweet natured, traditionally bred event mare

“Oli” is a sweetie!
Homebred out of Monbeg Mo Cuiske who is a half sister to Kitty King’s Advanced horse Mo Cuiske and a full sister to Michael Ryan’s 2* horse What Else. She is traditionally bred and carries approximately 80% thoroughbred blood and also the jumping line of Laughton’s Flight.
Broken in the autumn and given a holiday over Christmas she has been quietly ridden away since then and is happily hacking out alone and jumping a small course of fences. She has been an absolute pleasure to do in every way, her temperament is golden!
She’s been good to shoe, good to clip, easy to break and lovely in and out of the stable.
She would suit a lightweight rider who wants a kind, genuine mare to produce through the grades and have some fun with. Ideal prospect for the small event horse class at this years Dublin Horse Show.

A loving home is essential for this special girl!

16.1hh Full Irish Draught. Green Book. By It’s The Quiet Man by a Powerswood Purple mare. This mare has bred 3 foals. 2 colts and 1 filly.

Full breeding in pictures. Lovely traditional breeding. Grey under saddle in the pictures is her first foal who is based in the UK and has gained supreme champion show hunter titles. Foals easily and is a good mother. Great mare for someone looking to breed traditional type draughts which last year at the RDS took home a lot of the prizes. This old type irish is making a come back. Would also make a fantastic mare to breed ISH outs of. Very well put together.
Only reason not covered this year is that I was planning on bringing her back into work full time. Time restrictions and work have meant that she’s been worked a few days here or there but hasn’t had any consistent work. Would make a super hack, lower level all-rounder. More of your kick along ride then a forward ride. Very well behaved and never bucks, naps, rears. Can tack her up and ride her if anyone is interested in her as a riding mare. Don’t have time to bring her back in full time though.
Complete sweetheart to do everything with. Very loving mare.

Lovely big scopey horse. Currently has about 60 sji points. Currently jumping 1.20m. Going clear every outing.Will be moving up to 130m shortly. Ridden by 18 year old girl, very easy to ride , loves to jump and is very careful. Very well schooled on the flat and has won combined training class. Lovely natured horse. Same owner from a 3yr old. RISING 6 YEAR OLD ALL ROUNDER GELDING

Zarco (Denis) has the best of Irish and Warmblood breeding including Darco and Clover Hill. This guy is a true all rounder. Originally hunted as a 4yr old, Denis was introduced to eventing and show jumping in the 2nd half of 2016 and while initially green he improved hugely at every outing. Great balance and really well put together. In cross country he has the ideal mixture of a never say no attitude while being careful and safe. He makes difficult jumps/obstacles feel easy with his scope and braveness. Loves water, banks, drains, etc. All the areas some animals struggle with he does with ease.

Denis did a few young horse event classes getting placed and then entered some Open level hunter trials in the Autumn which he did with ease. Definitely capable of 1* eventing this year as a 6 year old with a decent rider. Denis did a dressage league in January at Novice/1* level and was placed with an inexperienced rider (riding less than 3yrs). Same rider in videos on link below.

Naturally travels in an outline with a lovely long neck. Never been injured or lame. Great hoofs. More recently ridden in every discipline without a martingale including out hunting as he does not need one. Always ridden in a snaffle. Would make a top class hunter but has so much more to offer.

By the Darco stallion UFO that died young in 2016. His dam lines include Clover Hill, Pride of Shaunlara, Coevers and the famous TB stallion Menelek that sired 2 Grand National winners.

Denis is fit and ready for any discipline. Suitable for different levels of riders and showing so much promise for the future. Very clever and quick to learn and will really benefit from a rider looking for a young horse to add value to with further training and experience.

Denis is a true gent, in and out of the stable. A real genuine horse for life and a great character that always tries to please. Great around kids. No vices.

This mare is by the late pacino has all the qualities to be a top showjumper. She has a lovley step and very good paces.Her sire Pacino jumped at a nations cup level and her dam is a premium draft mare, that has bread jumpers.The sire of the dam is welcome flagmount. Mare is broken and riding. This mare has no vices, she is handled well and very friendly.

O-Piloth was ridden by Olympic, World and European Champion Jeroen Dubbeldam and retired to stud due to injury. At the age of 5 years old, O-Piloth came second at the “Zwolle International Stallion Show 2001” in the “International Future Stallion” Competition.

O-Piloth has proven himself as a sire by producing the winner of the qualifier of the Cavan loosejumping finals as well as having sired the winner and second placed horse in same finals.
One of O-Piloth’s progeny was jumping at the World Breeding Championship in Lanaken 2012.

O-Piloth will work best with a half bred mare and has seen to cross well even with heavier type mares. He will ad height, blood and a super technique. He is built uphill and has an uphill canter. O-Piloth has 3 athletic paces and breeds modern type sports horses mainly for the show jumping ring. The O-Piloth progeny are blood horses and are easy to work with!

Stetter is by International show jumper Manhattan, sire of many International show jumpers as well as sire of KWPN approved Stallions. Manhattan’s Damline has produced Carrera, winner of the CHIO 5* Grand Prix Aachen and Valeur, 2 times winner of the Eindhoven Derby.

Stetter himself came 4th in the World Breeding Championship in Lanaken in 2004 for 5 year old’s, ridden by Bart Bles.

Before he got retired to Stud, Stetter was ridden by Claudia Gisler, Switzerland;

5th and 7th in Grand Prix CSI 3* Cortina d’Ampezzo

3rd Grand Prix CSI 3* Passariano Codropio

3rd Grand Prix Schaffausen, Swiss Championship

5th and 6th CSIO 4* Zagreb

amongst many other placings at CSIO5* and CSI3* level.

Stetter does his first breeding season in 2013 at Belmont House Stud. His main attributes are his super temperament, great looks and his attitude of wanting to give his best possible performance. He was super careful, scopey and always wanted to win. Qualities that he has given to his successful son Wetter. What his former rider Peter Wylde has to say about him; Wetter is in the same stable now as I am in the US. He is ridden by Catherine Tyree. Won a 1.45 class (Amateur Owner) two weeks ago here in Wellington. Will be doing Young Riders here. He is very brave, a lot of blood and scope. Nice horse!

16’3hh 4yr old (rising 5) Grey gelding. Full green book, by King of Mourne out of a tb mare Hubbly Bubbly.
King is the sweetest natured horse with a heart of gold. Rides beautifully on the flat and has recently started jumping proving brave and scopey. Hacks perfectly alone or in company and has previously enjoyed numerous forest rides and mountain trails.
Produced slowly and professionally King has been allowed to mature and is now ready to further his career.
